Mr Hipocrisy's got one Hell of a nerve
Read his Read his EULA agreement carefully.
Microsoft absolves itself for just about everything under the sun.
It accepts NO responsibility and throws it all on your back.
Then he has the nerve to call for new laws regarding "Privacy" It Microsoft who sold out the clients when they gave "Sold" our private Hotmail information to various companies. I have the letters proving it.
This with the understanding that they could only send us Pop-Ups 4 times daily. Guess what are they listening?
The point is that Microsoft is "Supposed" to keep our information Private.
Yet they sold us out and NOW Gates has the "Hootzpah" to ask for Privacy Laws???
I would suggest he look at his own backyard first, clean up the EULA so that they may share responsibility and then Maybe, just Maybe he can talk.
Which brings up another point.
How come every time you download from a Microsoft site, "Supposedly Protected by McAfee" you get Viruses, Trojans, and a host of other non desirables.HUMMM???
Then he has the Balls to ask for new laws?
What a sick joke and it's being played on us.
But then WE are the Fools for tolerating it.
The answer is NOT to switch to Linux or some other operating system, the answer is to after Microsoft and hammer them with lawsuits. Who knows they just might get the picture.
I for one am tired of being screwed over by the Gates Balmer team and would very much like to see Congress, if it can ever get it's congressional act together, go after Microsoft regarding the EULA that you never see until the product is Bought and actually 99% Installed in your PC.
So in this case, it's Gates Put up or Shut up. You can't have it both ways.
Oh by the way, regardless of Microsoft's Policies, I paid Big Bucks for My XPPro and would gladly see them in court if they EVER try to shut me down or cut me off.
This is Gates Hypocrisy at it's level best.
Regards
Aaron
