If you are going to bring that up...
you may also want to mention that Gates said that Americans need to study more math and science. If there were enough people taking these classes (and graduating with degrees), Microsoft (and others in the US) would not be n the situation of needing to increase the H1-B visas. That is a different topic from what the article is about though. If you really want to know what was said, watch the session with Gates and some senators on C-SPAN, it would make your post a bit more informed!
