Effect of merger on AOL Radio with XM, if any?

I have the latest Winamp media player (version 5.33) which also includes free access to AOL Radio with XM. I am wondering whether the proposed Sirius/XM merger will have an effect on AOL's ties with XM, as I listen to AOL Radio with XM quite often (more than I listen to local FM radio these days). If the Sirius/XM merger does in fact mean that AOL will drop its own XM service, it will be, IMHO, a terrible disservice to listeners as I'm sure many people tune in to AOL with XM these days, particularly since most of AOL's services (including AOL with XM's music channels) are now offered free of charge. There are many good Internet radio stations in cyberspace (one of my favorites is The Breeze, an easy-listening station from Crown Point, Indiana), but AOL Radio with XM is one of a kind, commercial-free radio with just about every kind of modern music available, from the '40s through the 1990s. Its time has come, given the sorry state of standard, terrestrial (i. e. over the air) AM and FM radio. If AOL with XM is forced out of existence by the XM/Sirius merger, I'm sure a lot of regular listeners to AOL Radio with XM will be very disappointed. I know I will be.
