I'm always upset with the concept of using others lives
to make examples. These were two youths close to adulthood by
most state standards and they were it seems having some playful/
harmless fun. Now their lives are upset and turnt upside down by
people/law to serve as an example.

IT's like that parable in the Bible where someone asks Jesus about all
the unfair suffering in the world like leapers and the like and Jesus's
reply is something to the extent that those people server a great
purpose because those who suffer and still turn to the lord glorify the
lord so much more than those who do not suffer as much. Now
being a life long diabetic if I were standing there listenting for no
particular reason and those words came out of Jesus's mouth the next
thing you would have heard was the sound of a shovel hitting a man's
face repeatedly.
