So not getting it

"Piracy of intellectual property on the Internet has seriously harmed the interests of copyright owners, leading to a large number of disputes--and thus disrupting the orderliness of the Internet," Yan Xiaohong, deputy director of the National Copyright Administration


Don't get me wrong, piracy is a problem, It needs tackling at both ends. A first would be realistic pricing.

BUT, the point I want to make is that the orderliness of the internet doesn't and shouldn't exist.
Sure there is a need to censor, sad but true some people just don't belong in an enlightened society.
But the disorderliness of the internet is what makes it the medium it is.
Show me an internet where everything is controlled and I'll show you the whole where my ADSL plug used to be.
