This is Wrong as Rain at a Picnic
DRM can work and very well, as the iTMS shows. And you are wrong about
corporations trying OWN the music - they don't OWN the music, they carry the
rights to distribute the music.

The artist owns the performance, the composer owns the music, the lyricist owns
the lyrics, the music company has the right to distribute and pay the royalties to
all those people and the iTMS has a right to retail the music.

You never own music you didn't write anymore than you own software you didn't
write.

You put your intellectual capital out there and have it stolen and see you how like
it.
