Feading off the Public Commons
The public decides what is public. I suspect US citizens have gotten use to owning both the air waves and all things Internet. Its about communication necessary for democracy. Its about freedom.

Enron/Blockbuster's plan to create choke points in Internet traffic - like the choke points in energy transmission - was well exposed before Ken died oh so convieniently. It is way to early to expect to get away with that scame. I doub't if Ken were still alive that there would even be discussion.
