All software has potential IP issues ...
it just goes with the territory. You know that better than anybody Don. And Linux is not coming out too badly in the SCO IP fiasco. I would suggest that Linux will be able to hold its own on IP issues and we would all be better off supporting software writers, both proprietary and GPL, than paying our hard earned money to armies of lawyers. That's the really sad thing about the SCO fiasco. In the end there will be no winners. There never are in these cases. IBM and Novell will likely survive. SCO will likely be history. But what a collosal waste of money and resources. So be careful what you wish for. There can be unintended consequences. We would all be better off if we all work together. Too bad you can't keep your balance well enough to refrain from scorning Red Hat. You wouldn't be so cocky if it was your product that was under attack. Do yourself a favor and give it a break.
