The dems can/will blame their ineptness on many things, and rest assured, they will blame Bush and his veto. Even if the bill is crap/stupid/full-of-riders, they will blame him for their failures to accomplish anything. And, of course they can then use that stupid logic to convince some more weak minds to elect a dem president, then we start the whole cycle over of coming to the realization that dems need to be voted out, elect repubs and repeat.
