IPOs make everything evil
IPOs give the biggest bidders the biggest shares of any promising corporate entity. The most evil are the most rich. So if a rich bastard wants to turn an otherwise non-evil entity, like Google, into his/her/its bastion of oppression for his particular self-motivated sinisterness, he/she/it will use his/her/its already ill-gotten gains to buy a large share of the company and sit on the board of directors. This board has influence over Google, not the founders who had a vision, and has turned a well-meaning intent into a complete lie. Blame the rich scum beholders of the big US Dollar, old money. The good thing is that once they are done extorting value from the name of Google and have illegitimized it into a top-heavy behemoth ready to implode, not unlike Microsoft or the United States, they will have destroyed it and have created a power vacuum in the business world where that corporation used to have a good placing.
