How is this any different from a recitation or lab setting? When I was in school, nearly every class had a mandatory hands-on problem solving recitation scheduled twice a week. Classes involving computers like CAD or programming were held in the computer lab. Classes requiring reasoning and solving problems did not. We didn't need web 2.0 for this to happen.

So tell me, where is the innovation?
