Yours is bad, but mine is OK.
How they operate over their track record. It could not be any clearer.

No, the theory revolves around people have to take care of themselves.

So you want to rescue all the poor souls. Better to take care of yourself. Sh*t happens.

So what. You can take care of it. I belong to a non-profit that helps people. Not in this area. We do disaster relief. Just don't make the gov't do it. They screw it up. Besides charity should not be forced out of people by the gov't.

Oh you are just plain disagreeable. Who are you kidding?

It is their problem. It is not my problem or society's problem. Please seperate your identities. I never contradicted myself. Your problem is, you want the government to take on everyone's problem. That would be a problem.

It is. Better to let someone fend for themselves than to be coddled by the government. You sink or swim on your own merit.

Don't worry about it. Self determined suicidal cannot be fixed unless they want to be fixed. Or, they are not going to change unless they really want to from within. In the mean time, avoid these people. They have a bad habit of taking others with them.

A friend of mine is in AA and sober for over 20 years. He will tell you the same thing. Someday you will appreciate this.
