Lack of self control is BAD
Sorry tech people but most of uses are on the poorer side and if all it takes is one simple search keyword to bet on something and loose all your money I would prefer to outlaw this activity. It isn't necessary nor fun to gamble online. Go to a casino.

I just think it's perverted to allow everyone to waste their life saving and not even care at all at how addicting it is.

Your argument can be applied to many things.

Alcohol is BAD

Sorry tech people but most of users are on the poorer side and if all it takes is one simple walk to the corner shop to buy something and use all your money on alcohol I would prefer to outlaw this activity. It isn't necessary nor fun to get drunk and use up your wages. Drink water instead.

I just think it's perverted to allow everyone to waste their life saving and not even care at all at how addicting it is. Drunk people are also more likely to abuse their spouses and children physically and verbally.

Do you see the issue here?

1. The government does not care about outlawing gambling for the greater good. The only reason why they have an issue with online gambling is because they cannot tax it and get their slice of the pie.

2. The government shouldn't be a nanny state. If people are so low in the gene pool that they want to waste their savings on such an activity, then it's not up to anyone but those people to put a curb on their activities and take responsibility for their actions.

3. It seems as though people have forgotten of what taking responsibility for their own actions is all about seeing the number of lawsuits such as, "McDonald's made me fat". No, it was you that made yourself fat.
