You seem to think that everyone with a digital camara wants to spend hours
maintaining backups and keeping them synced. And, your argument that most of the average Joes do not have much data to worry about is pretty funny. You are making a good point for them just using online applications since they don't have much data and it is not that important. They do not have advanced needs or much to lose.

Yes, paranoid nerds will be wasting there time and money buying equipment and doing backups for some time to come. So what??? There are still people that keep money under their matress too. Does that mean banks are not safe???
