Google wants data in the cloud, not on the desktop
Google doesn't know what it wants. The company itself is in limbo which is why its tried to branch out in every direction and fell short every time. They are burning money faster than a dot com in 2000 and Larry, Sergey, and Eric are just laughing away at all the suckers that are buying into the whole Google ploy. If you want all your documents and your life thrown out into the public and sold to secret government agents then by all means use Google's tools. If you want privacy then avoid Google at all costs. I can't wait to say "I told you so" when all this comes back to bite you.
