The adventures of Captain Obvious
I'm frankly quite surprised its taken scientists this long to realize the social, societal and psychological implications of the web. Or that its oh, you know, the perfect research tool for player participation. I'm also a little shocked that its growth model and its means of interconnectedness has not been the subjects of biologists looking for paralels in the development of the brain, cell networks and other multi-node systems.

It seems like the people in charge are the last ones to realize that they're standing on the train tracks.

I love that even college administrators, CEOs and the President of the United States still refer to the internet in plural (internets) and have no idea that "To Google" is a verb as defined by Websters. (They still "Use 'the google.'")
