Or maybe the US just doesn't care what happens in Cuba as Cuba has nothing of value that the US wants, if Cuba had oil you'd see a different stance by the US.

Uh... Do you know what Cuba was prior to Fidel's little revolution?

I'll help you. Cuba was a vacation paradise. It's in the Carribean. It's got LOTS of beaches. It had hotels. It, like Jamaica, Bermuda, and other islands in the area, was a popular place to visit. So it's not quite fair to say Cuba has nothing of value. Real Estate is ALWAYS valuable unless a power mad dictator is in charge - and in that case, the dictator owns everything.
