, who is using the embargo as a tool to hurt al the people of Cuba for what one man is doing . George is very proud of himself . Why doesn't George place an embargo on China or Russia ? I'll tell you why , because he doesn't have what it takes to go up against the big boys . George is a bully who is constantly preying on the little countries of the world . It is a known fact that Apple or Microsoft can not sell anything in Cuba because of the embargo . Again I tell you George is punishing all the innocent people in Cuba for what Fidel Castro is doing . Whatever it is he is doing .

What this idiot is forgetting is that Castro has been in power for 50 years now. The embargo has been in place pretty much since the begining.

He blames the current president, but he fails to lay blame on the Clinton, Bush Sr, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, and Eisenhower administrations for the plight of the Cubans. Out of all of those, Kennedy was the only one who tried and utterly FAILED to do anything about it. The Bay of Pigs invasion ring any bells?

By his logic, had the Bay of Pigs invasion been successful, it would have been wrong - oh wait, Kennedy was a Democrat. If that had been different, he would have been viewed as a liberator.

As to why G.W. Bush doesn't put up an embargo against Russia - that much is obvious. The Russians are no longer under the thumb of the Soviet regime. They're a democracy these days and there's no real point in doing so.

China, on the other hand, is another story. As Richard Nixon put it, it's damn hard to ignore 1/5th of the entire world's population - even if they're communists. The Chinese, while they're the only somewhat successful communist state, have been liberalizing their economy even if they've been censoring the 'Net.

At any rate, if ANYTHING Bush is only continuing a 5 decade long embargo. This isn't anything new. It's not like he's gone out and put his finger on the map and decided to start picking on "poor" Fidel and his country with an embargo.
