Please drop the bong and get a history book

Root, please tell me that you have more knowledge about geo-political matters than what was force feed you by liberal poly-sci professors in between your bong rips and afternoon's at the Frisbee golf park. Of course GW is punishing the country of Cuba for the actions of one man. What do you want us to do, he is the DICTATOR! That is how it works, whether he is a Latin or Middle East strong man; you cut them off from the rest of the world. Then you wait for the population to make a decision, either stay with the dictator or decide to remove him and join the rest the free world. Until they grow a pair, and some one puts a bullet in his head, I say let them eat cake.
As for their internet connection, when did access to the internet become an inalienable right? It is a consumer product, just like coal or cars. If their government doesn?t want to play nice, then we, and yes I mean the US, have every right to restrict access to the internet. If some other country wants to spend billions to lay underwater fiber to them, have at it. I just don?t think that anyone should jump on the US government for trying to use any and all means to isolate a violent and dangerous psychopath.
