How so?
A windows user need not conduct any business with google. Microsoft is making these promises to potential advertisers at our expense. It is an obvious conflict of interest. That which is good for us isn't good for the advertisers and vice versa. As a company hoping to sell us new versions of their OS every 5 years shouldn't they be doing everything in their power to shield us from advertisers? We know google is working on behalf of advertisers. It is after all, their business model. So now Microsoft has two opposing business models
