You are correct, sir. Now, how do they get traffic to see all those ads, which makes them valuable? Oh yes, that's right, they present content. Remove the content, you remove the viewers, you remove the value of the ads.

Note that there is a purpose for myspace beyond what the owners (Fox) get out of it. That's the purpose achieved by those contributing all the content (the users). They must also be served here, otherwise there's no reason for them to create the content. No user-created content means no viewers. Means no ads.
