Yeah.... but that's not what I'm wondering...
... I'm wondering about how switches and routers would handle it, not how the ASCII is encoded.
Hell, there are plenty now, but what about the hardware.
If a switch has to decode the charcters for a domain(every non-english domain, over and over), will that slow down transmission or have they devised a means that it has no effect?
