You would if
your primary language was not English. If you had to translate everything you read, you would realize how slow and labor intensive the operation is.

I write the only multi-language software for construction estimating, so I am very familiar with the problem. Allowing the user to operate in their native language increases productivity and insures a correct result.

Further, why fight this iniative? It only increases the coverage and usability of the internet. The more people that are able to use the internet, the better off we all will be. Once things are reduced to a digital language, the more opprotunity for automated translation and spreading of ideas.
