Very partiotic, no doubt; still no less wrong
I have to say, I have very much respect for your patriotism, as well as your eloquence.

Your arguments, though, are still not valid. US did NOT bail Europe out of WWII. It definitely helped win the war sooner. Its losses were enormous and nobody ever denied that. Either way, by sacrificing so much in Europe, it did not earn a perpetual right to do what it pleases everywhere.

The number of US vetoes in the UN Security Council
are as follows:

China: 4
France: 18
UK: 32
US: 81
Soviet Union: 119
Russia (actually, post-1986): 3

Practially all Soviet vetos happened during Chruschev years (cold war, Cuban crisis, Korean war, Viet Nam, etc.).

Obviously, the combined total of all non-US members is significantly less than US.

It's so absurd to twist the story, so that it is France's (and Russia's) fault when an American missile kills civilians in Iraq.

There is no international law thad exempts so called 'terrorists' (how do we know they were that? They were fighting against an occupying army in their own country!) from protection. Their actions had no impact on any security except those of the troops fighting them (occupying forces in Afghanistan and Iraq). To say anything else would be to parrot PR message coming out of Pentagon (and the White House).

Again, it is commendable to be patriotic; however, sometimes, the line between patriotism and nationalism (and xenophobia) is blurred and therefore easilly crossed.
