But what's wrong? Who's agreeing?
I didn't state what's right or wrong. Who's at fault or who isn't.
I just gave some examples, and asked some questions.
It seems you are the one who place various countries and religious groups in the roles that I described.
However I notice it's a lot easier for people to say things about actions that don't happen to them.

I find that both sides of the current conflicts find people (not governments, or armies, or forces) seeing civilians as targets or just getting in the way. Most people in the world just want to get on with their life, peaceful and undisturbed.

Of couse, "There is never justification for beheading those who disagree or look different or happen to be from a different location that you." However it seems that some powerful countries see civilians around their enemies a just obstacles, shields to be destroyed or penetrated.
I find it interesting that some countries were against torture as far back as world war II (even prosecuting jailers as war criminals), while now saying it's okay to do on their enemies.
Both sides talk about their god and how they are religious, while killing against their religions preaching.
To spell it out, I'm saying neither side is right.
You just have to look from both sides.
