It's not the system that's biased, it's the application of it that is biased. More precisely, society is, and always has been, biased toward the rich and powerful, or even the beautiful. Who doesn't treat his rich uncle a little better than the rest of the family. Or, how much nicer are we to the gorgeous person that cuts us off in traffic, than we are to the cyclops' that do the same thing.
