I don't see that case as an example of a "bad case"...
... because the prosecuters threw up the facts and OJ's high priced lawyers shot them down. If OJ didn't have the "dream team" of defense lawyers, he'd probably be in jail right now; which is a HUGE problem with the legal system. If that was me (if I did it or NOT), I would be spending the rest of my life in jail.
The jury meanwhile had NO choice but to make a decision with the facts. No saying "I think he did it"; Just the facts. Anyone who saw the whole case (and I did), and would have voted anything but "Not Guilty" would have been going on opinion and not fact (whether really guilty or not is not being discussed here); and that's what really scares me.

THIS case (if presented correctly) is an excellent example of what's bad with the legal system.
The man:
- had not one but TWO witnesses that he was at home.
- does not own a white truck
- may have been online at the time

and most importantly

had a judge that made a decision on (as far as I can tell) personal opinion, with a sentence of "365 days of confinement and a $2,000 fine".

How many people are in jail for a crime they did not commit?
How many people have been released because of DNA that finally said that they did not commit the crime? (I man just got released, after serving 17 years for crime he did not commit)

I've seen a jury (which a person a knew was on) award $100 million dollars to a slightly injured child, because she was a "poor little kid", and the company could afford it.( Reduced to 8 million on Appeal).

I could ramble on and on, but the OJ case isn't a case I see of the legal system gone bad. (and I'm not talking about guilt or no guilt)
I've seen a lot of other cases that are bad. People on death row, who obviously didn't commit the crime. Police beating confessions out of people. Don't even start me up about traffic court.
I think we need to bring those cases into the light.
