Here is a clue for you, while it may be argued that the U.S. "helped" free Europe from fascist tyranny 60 years ago, it can also be argued that it wouldn't have been necessary, if the cowardly yanks hadn't shown up 3 years late. WW2 started in 1939, not 1942.
