he was dealing with the potential/theoretical bottom line... when someone enters the market, they're interested in what their bottom line *will* be, and there's 1 bottom line per company...

the RIAA wants to have full control over their bottom line. Russia wouldn't let them... enter allofmp3.com, who said ok to Russia's regulations. This meant that the RIAA could no longer control the bottom line generated from the market there... As such the RIAA works to kill allofmp3.com, so that Russia must bend it's rules to allow the RIAA control...

may Russia win this one. I like hearing that the RIAA got it's ass handed to it.
