Lets recognize that RSS readers were invented by Netscape, promoted by Netscape, and if it were not for illegal use of monopoly power, the masses would have been enjoying this technology ten years ago. Set up a My Netscape account. See RSS. There is no need for RSS to be integrated into a browser. The portal handles all of that. So now let us real IT folk try to digest this news.

One interesting thing to note is the number of Washington State sites, like the governors, that now support FireFox. Did this happen by accident? You should also be aware that those working for Microsoft now use FireFox for website development. This is owing to some neet add ins that help with scripting. Once the web work works there it gets tested in IE. Of course web sits for government, which must provide for access to all, kind of have to support the Industry rather than the Microsoft assumed-incorrectly-to-be defacto standard.
