- 8% is still pretty reasonable to me

I have memories of the 80s when Interest rates where up over 20%. Paying a mortags rate of 26% and all you could do was pay the interest. $1600 payments on $60,000 mortage.
I think any interest rate in the single digits is a good rate if you ask me. Still it was nice back at those 3.5% Prime rates in Canada right now are 6%.
