- This is such a sad, sad story to have come out of our congress. Now this congressman refuses to take accountability for his actions by blaming it on alcohol and being previously molested as a child. He needs to be labeled for what he is: a predator. He used his position of power to gain access to these kids who naturally looked up to him as a congressman, then attempted to seduce them. It's probable that he succeeded in getting some of them to agree to his request, we just haven't heard about it yet.
