Youtube does not equal napster
The researcher here is incorrect in assuming that the Supreme court cases against the file sharing sites applies to YouTube. Unlike the filesharing sites, YouTube is actively removing pirated content. Which recognizes that the use of copyrighted material without permission is unacceptable, and they are working to be proactive about it so that it never gets there. I think YouTube will be come a delivery model for more main stream content in the next 5-10 years as part of licensing deals, which can only lead to more consumer choice and that is a good thing.
