RE: Lime Wire, squeezed, files countersuit
Sure I've used LimeWire to get music. Almost all old stuff from the 70's into the early 80's.

Things that the record companies still charge the same amount for as the new bands? It has only been the last couple of years that the record companies have started to lower the prices asked for older music.

How can they justify it?

Then they really pulled a big one when instead of trying to work with Napster they just shut them down. Something over 80 million users. What an audience. The recording industry really muffed that one I think.

80 million users even at a penny for each download?!

Mostly I used LimeWire for Old Time Radio. Now I have other sources for this past time. So LimeWire just sits unused on my computer except for when I'm having difficulty finding an old radio show.

The recording industry has done nothing but make enemies and alienate people. It's all about the dollars in their own pockets. It has nothing to do with the music groups. They just get to live in the shadows of the big money grubbers at the helm!
