Can Windows run an app from a USB drive?
I would like to find out if an app can be run from any drive without
being installed on a machine. I was under the impression that all
apps had to be installed into the registry before the system would
allocate resources. I could see this browser working on a Mac or
Linux box but would have to be installed on a Win box. Has MS
changed things so XP will let an app run without being installed?
