For many of the same reasons why
some Americans dislike the rest of the world. Oh yes, they're here, the ignorant and ill-informed, just like those in other countrys like Germany and France.

Did not the grave sites of fallen American soilder in France become desecrated some time back? And for what? What did those people in the ground do to the French, other then die for them? If the French people disliked Americans that much, why not take it out on those that are upsetting them, instead of those who made it possible for them to have the ability to do what they did?

As for ignorant about their Government, don't even get me started on Germany:
