They won just like Microsoft wins
large amounts of $$$ to bribe legal side or drain the opponent in court actions. You see American corporations are not about good ethics and quality products. They are all about unsustainable business models, insane and unsustainable profit margins. And the price to get there? Who cares so long as the CEO gets his cut along with the share holders. It doesn't matter if laws are broken, the fines are so often than not well below what the profits are that breaking the law is acceptable.

This is the attitude corporations have. All the while they convince people they are for them and care about the environment and the children and all the other important things. But in reality they hack and slash customers left and right. Fire their own staff when profits are not at the already unsustainable levels, remove or reduce health care benefits. It's the consumer and the average working person that is getting it in the end.

And only a small number of people truly benefit or profit from corporations. I have said it before and I will say it again, they need to be hobbled and castrated back to thier original intent. Corporations will be the downfall of western society. devil
