Port Microsoft Web and Server Apps to Linux
Apparently you can port Microsoft? .NET Web and server applications to WebSphere? and Linux?, without having to hire Java engineers or rewrite your entire code.

Lets face it, Java is the first language a newbe learns these days. The future of software design favors a single source code development strategy.

I haven't found it very difficult to take a Visual Basic application and rewrite it as an applet. Once the first form or tab is developed it is pretty much just a copy and refactor job.
