No reason to get too excited here, this is just a puplicity/legal stunt.
They want to be able to say in court they are even helping to get Firefox running on Vista, and also to generate publicity that they are nice guys.

If MS really wants to help make the web work better, they could start by giving notice that the non standard behaviour in IE will not work indefinately, of course remove ActiveX imediately, and correctly support all standards including CSS. Where we really need help with the web is not in porting Firefox to Vista, but in assuring that all browsers conform to standards, and all browsers can display all content.

Well, no reason for the Firefox to not take MS up on the offer for some one-on-one with MS engineers. Heck, maybe they can even recuit a few to work at Mozilla or Google!!
