So it looks like this specialized help will be beneficial for the Mozilla folks and for Firefox users.

Its also good for Vista. If people are determined to use Firefox, Microsoft wouldn't want that to be a reason for them not upgrading to the new O/S.

The profit comes from Vista, not from IE.
