Their hypocrisy stinks
The only reason the debate over the so-called "net neutrality" has lasted this long is because giants like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft support it 100%. Of course, they know NOTHING about neutrality when it comes to their own business, just ask any of them about "search neutrality" and you will only get evasive looks.
Neutrality does not exist for other services like mail and transportation, where do these people get the idea that the network should be neutral. Why shouldn't someone who wants guaranteed speed/reliability be able to pay more to obtain it?
Google, Yahoo and Microsoft have a lot to lose if they are forced to pay more for all the bandwidth they use, to of course they will oppose any attempt to change that.
