It looks like the fat broadband providers have bought themselves another polititian.

They fed that "market pressure" lie to us here in Maryland when they de-regulated the electric market. Want to know what it got us? A 72% hike in electric rates. Thanks but no thanks.

If the Internet is to remain the medieum for free exchange of ideas and communication that is equal for all, them we need safeguards that the Verizon's and Comcasts of the world can't sell off the internet to the highest bidder. Do you really trust Comcast to do the right thing? Look at your cable bill and you'll find your answer.
