privacy is not protected by your provider
Another example of how vulnerable we are when it comes to depending on your online provider for protection. When security is not in your hands, you're at risk, just waiting for the next "technician" to mess up. Unfortunately, to err is to be human, right? Well, it really hurts when you're not even the one to make the error. It's bad enough that you can't always trust an email recipient to not share your emails with the world, but you also have to worry about your provider dong the same. The sooner people start taking online privacy into their own hands, the better.
