Too brand or not too Brand

I understand Apple's point, Google's, not so much. It's an everyday task where you used to have a choice for the search engine, when you wanted to search over the web, ok but with what? have a thought for the newbies. When you talk about "googling", you think directly about searching over the internet, with Google of course, or you simply type "google" in your browser and it's there. Proof is that more and more websites are offering a link to Google saying "search the web with Google" not "google the web".

But when you talk about iPod, you're talking about a physical product you don't buy every day, not even each year, mistakes are not allowed (like USB pen drives are often called "memory stick" what about Sony there?) What would "ipoding" mean after all?

Google offers everyday Services, Apple sell (not so) expensive hardware... or is it only a marketing strategy to talk even more about Google (it's working, look 10th time i write it in this post, lol)

Anyway, (Sincerly) Long life to Google and to Apple
