Google Origins
If memory serves me correctly, Dr. Carl Sagan, noted astronomer and physicist, used the term "Googleplex", in a TV Show about time travel and light years in the 70's. The name "Googleplex" was coined by his 5 year old son to give a name to the largest number so far computed when his prominent father gave him the opportunity to provide a name for this "new" value. "It might have been "Nova" but the show was aired at the height of Dr. Sagan's popularity. So, it would seem that the people claiming "rights" to a 5 year old's property is beyond the pale.
