No doubt Kleenex has been so anal that they've sued people who say "Get a kleenex" to their friend who just sneezed and wants to wipe it everywhere else... but proceed to that box of generic tissue paper because it was cheaper...

And Xerox should be suing the encyclopedia folk too. "Go xerox this porno, Joe" rather than saying "Go make a paper facsimile of this important paper document".

Companies invariably and inevitably lose theirselves in the process.

Just imagine what the person who created "shoes" thought once other people came along with similar knockoffs of a comparable name -- what a horrible crime that makes stuff like murder and rape seem like toddler squabbles by comparison.

(In other words, are people so frickin' petty in this day and age? Stop this cartoon, I want to get off!)
