Google and U.C. sign contract to digitize books

UC pissed at Microsoft?

OCA, a Microsoft controlled organization apparently isn't doing good and has gone bad. Otherwise the UC would not be cutting deals with Google and Google would just be getting the scans from OCA which is suppose to be open source.

I imagine that the patent deal involving how controls are handled by browsers - the one where the value of the Microsoft-pirated-from UC Berkeley software was set at 580 million by multiple courts - the one that Microsoft managers refuse to pay - the one that is the real reason for IE changes - the one that so clearly demonstrates continued illegal use of monopoly power because the current IE browser now makes Java Applets appear either insecure, unprofessional or slow when implemented as Microsoft recommends, has something to do with somethin. UC filed the patent. UC, was wronged, CA taxpayers were wronged, US citizens were wronged. Oz make it right. Please.
