Sounds like a privacy nightmare
"...new techniques for following users beyond the first click-through from a search results page."

This and the description of "dwelling" sound like big invasions of privacy. I don't want MSN Search (have to use them as the example here instead of Google since this is an MS idea) to be able to know how much time I spend on a site that I just happened to have found via their search. Or worse yet, what I do on that site.
