Would Apple pull out?
My bet is that they will pull out of France rather than opening up
their DRM to anyone who demands it. Maintaining an environment
that provides some level of protection to their suppliers
(performers as well as record companies) will be more important
that the net profit (if any) their French market provides. The only
ones that will be adversely impacted will be your basic French
consumer.
