Wikipedia is good for every day use. It only has slightly more errors than
print encyclopedias. And, it has a wealth of entries that you can NOT find in print encyclopedias. Also, correcting errors is much faster since it is NOT printed.

This is just like law enforcement. We have very few police, there are not enough to be at all places and prevent all crimes, we depend on self policing, and people generaly not wanting to break the law.
